I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on an RS100

Sorry, i know this is a few months old, but i am curious about your comment as to why the RS200 would be better for this use case. I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on an RS100, but would like to separate my IoT devices, but still manage them with apps on my phone on my regular wifi setup

Indeed it does, thanks.  (Once again, relied on the User Manual.  Will never learn!)

What makes it worth spending $230 on an RS200 vs. $150 on an RS100?

    • Support for 80 devices instead of 50?
    • A 2.5G LAN port to provide higher speed to LAN devices
    • 4x4 MIMO on the 5G band to provide more throughput to 5G devices

Neither of these models provide a separate "Internet of Things" network feature.  It is not entirely clear what this means:

The RS200 does, now provide a separate Internet of Things, since FW 1.0.6.16.
