I normally use airplane mode on my iPhone when at home.Wifi Calling is enabled. Recently all three of our iPhones are no longer able to make and receive wifi calls (popup "No Network Connection" select cancel of disable airplane mode") .

Turn on Airplane Mode

Saying that much: Even in Airplane mode, you can explicitly turn on Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth.
BTW, in the mobile Nighthawk App, I can connect to the router locally or vial Anywhere Access. What is the preferred access when at home?
As long you are within your home WiFi coverage, and not on some other VLAN or VPN, locally is the preferred way.

Enabling Airplane mode only turns off my mobile data connection. WiFi and Bluetooth both remain on. That is because I turned WiFi back on after enabling Airplane mode (quite a while ago). iOS remembers that I did that - and leaves it enabled when I enter Airplane mode again. That is mentioned in your second link.
That said, the wifi connection is the first thing to check when WiFi calling doesn't work.

Wifi call prompting "no network connection disable airplane mode" message occurs while the Wifi is connected and airplane mode is enabled. The control center should present the "cellular carrier - Wifi" when things are working. In this case, it is not displayed. Note that I am still able to do web browsing in this configuration - so network connection is available.
Googled my situation - here is Google AI's reply:
"The culprit is likely a bugged IPsec ALG or firewall implementation in recent Netgear firmware which blocks the secure tunnels required for carrier Wifi calling. Other Nighthawk RS200 users have reported this exact issue on Netgear forums. While you wait for the engineering team, a few specific router configurations can bypass the block. 1 Disable Port Scan and Dos Protection. 2 Turn off Smart Connect. 3 Check for IPsec ALG (Beta Firmware).
I did connect with the Netgear support last night and they are working on a solution. I'm very happy with the Netgear support team and also pretty happy with Google AI.
