Interesting ... I've just bought a RS200 to replace my R7800 and I get a very similar problem. I find everything connected to the router loses internet connection but I can still ping the router ...
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.
Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, IPv6, Smart Parental Controls or Circle, Protection Engine and Traffic Meter.
