Netgear release MLO support for RS700
Hi Netgear Team,
It has been a long wait, waiting for MLO support on Nighthawk R700. I bought the router with impression of using Wifi 7, however to find out MLO is still in works. It has been work in progress since inquiry Q1 2024
Can you kindly share when firmware is slated to be released? Is there a tech preview or RC release?
Thanks,
Clement

NG doesn't give out informaton on when new FW or features will be released. If or when it does, you'll need to keep an eye on the product download site and look at the release notes for information on when new FW has with in.

very disappointing for all customers who bought RS700s and still waiting .. 😞
Hope Netgear keeps their promise and release the MLO feature.
🤞
Very disappointed that it's been taking so long to release MLO support. I have been using this product for more than a year now, that's a very long time to worn on a feature that was advertised.
Microsoft released the public version of 24H2 that includes built in support for Wifi 7 (and beta has been out for a long time) so there is no excuse to say "well nothing out there supports it yet".NG doesn't give out informaton on when new FW or features will be released. Multi-Link Operation (MLO) is an advanced WiFi 7 feature that allows your devices to use multiple WiFi bands simultaneously, providing improved performance and reliability. To take advantage of MLO, both your WiFi 7 router and compatible devices must support this feature.
We’re actively working on a firmware update to enable MLO on the RS700 router. As soon as the update is ready, we will share all the details here. We sincerely appreciate your patience as we strive to enhance your WiFi experience.
Thank you for being a NETGEAR customer.
