So I have the NetgearRS300 and cannot get it to connect to the internet. The orange light stays on it recognises the cable from the nighthawk app then won’t go no further. Can someone help me please

zen seems to have a LOT of information about how to use their service:

Is this an error message? something in the Nighthawk 'app'? If you connect a device to the RS300 WiFi, what does that device report?

Thanks. a cable modem? fiber Optical Network Terminator (ONT) ?
Would you happen to have a device that can be connected directly to the zen device with an Ethernet cable (desktop? laptop? AppleTV?)

The ONT works as using before I swapped out the router to the Netgear. But can’t get the Netgear to work. Have reset router and ONT I can use old router to connect through Netgear but that limits my speed as old router is only 1Gb and this is 2.5Gb and my fibre connection is 2.5Gb

The impression I get is that zen internet is based on PPPOE, rather than DHCP, which implies that it requires a User ID and password in the setup.
Does the previous router allow access to the configuration settings to confirm whether it uses ID/password or DHCP?

In addition to using the Nighthawk 'app', the User Manual explains how to use a computer or laptop with a web browser to perform the setup (starting on page 21)
