Nighthawk RS500 and Apple Devices
Hi.
just got the RS500 as my google wifi pro never really gave me the speeds I wanted and had a few issues as well with connection.
However, I can’t even connect any Apple device to it - it connects for about 10 seconds then drops. All my other devices are fine. I know you have to disable a bunch of things on the device when at home and enable them when you leave. That is amazingly annoying.
Also my router region is set to Canada when I live in Philadelphia US.
I have done the obligatory full resets about 10 times.
Anyone have any other idea before I take this back to Best Buy and choose something else?

Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
What iPhone model do you have?
What iOS version is loaded on it?
