People logged into my Wifi can see the password
When Android users are connected to my Wifi network, they are able to see my Wifi password through the Wifi settings.
Specific example, a friend connects to my Wifi on a Samsung Galaxy S22, where I entered the password. When he looks at the Wifi connection details, he can see the router password and then share it with others.
This appears to be a massive security flaw.
How can I stop the password being broadcast?
This is the norm for any Android device. It's the same for any Windows computer since Windows 7 (maybe even XP) from what I recall. If you don't want people knowing what your main wifi's password is, you need to create a Guest network and have them connect to that.
Alternatively, if you really want to lock down your network, you could turn on Access Control (Advanced > Security > Access Control) to allow and block devices in your network. I find this more trouble than it's worth in a home network, but you can use it to block devices that you don't recognize.
