Depends on if there is a separate ONT before the CR router or does the CR router handle the ONT side as well. Something to ask the ISP about and some Fiber ISP services may have special requirements or configurations needed to use there equipment or external routers like NG.
Contact them first and see.
NG doesn't produce any ONT equipment. Just routers and MESH systems that can connect to ONT equipment. Something to take a look at here to see what your home networking needs maybe or would best fit:
