RS200 Random Disconnect
Hello Guys, I am currently facing an annoying issue about Nighthawk RS200. My firmware is V1.0.1.74
My PC is wired connection directly to the router and my phone connect to the router wireless. The router disconnect from internet for 1-3mins every 10-15mins. The light on the router is all white, no amber/red light is on the router itself.
During the disconnection period, my PC cannot ping to the router (192.168.110.1) and the DNS. My phone cannot connect to the WIFI from the router even I set the SSID to a public SSID without password. My PC and phone will resume internet connection when the router is back to normal(I can ping Gateway from PC).
Did anyone face the same issue and solved it? I am tried to find Realtime chat support but it always show the support is busy.

1. what modem/gateway is the router connected to?
2. why have you changed the IP address of the router to that?

My Modem is HUAWEI OptiXstar HN8250Ts-20.
I changed my Router to 192.168.110.1 from 192.168.1.1 because I have contacted the local reseller support and they told me to try change the Gateway IP and test.
Does the internet LED on the RS Router turn AMBER when this happens?
Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the NG router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the NG router gets from the modem. https://kb.netgear.com/25891/DMZ-on-NETGEAR-routers

3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the NG router to the modem, LAN to LAN configure AP mode on the NG router.
