RS600 BE17000 vs BE18000
I'm struggling to understand what version of the RS600 is out there for the US. All I can see on my RS600 is "RS600". Nothing stating what the BE version is, and the firmware has no reference to anyt...

BE17000 and RS600 share the same user manual since they are filed under the same FCC application. What discrepancy did you find from the user manual?

I haven't done an exhaustive study, but what jumped out was a complete lack of any mention of QoS. In addition, with the UI so simplistic, why can't they have a few graphics showing it, is beyond me. Looking at the manual for the RS700,with the same date (July 2025), it does reflect the QoS inclusion.
Coming from an ASUS wifi router, from 10 years ago, Netgear looks like something from the DOS days. Don't get me started on the log. On the other hand, the performance is great.

True, the Netgear router software lacks advanced options and looks basic. BTW, the RS600 supports QoS.

I realize that it supports QoS, that's why I thought I'd look in the manual for possibly more details than the firmware reveals! By the way, I've been an embedded sw engineer for around 40+ years.

The manuals aren't always updated and wouldn't reflect what's available in the router's web UI. Hope you got the point.
