To anyone trying to access devices on your network via DDNS... Using uPNP for automatic port forwarding is resulting in DDNS failure behind the router, although devices can be connected outside the network. For instance, I have a Synology server, set up on my network, using xxx.synology.me:9999 as the ddns / port for accessing the server. Using upnp to set up ports, I could never access the server from inside the network, but it works fine accessing it outside the network. The way to resolve this, is to manually set up the port forwarding on the Netgear router. This has resulted in proper NAT loopback, allowing me to access xxx.synology.me:9999 from inside the network as well as from outside the network.83Views0likes14CommentsNighthawk RS600 Attached Devices list empty when it is not
My Nighthawk RS600 works fantastically, except for one minor glitch. When I first open both the app and the PC interface, both show 22 devices online, however, when I click on the button to get more details, nothing ever shows up. The app just continually shows "loading" and then finally errors out with the message "Sorry, your device list failed to load. Please try again later". The PC interface just comes up blank with no devices listed. Both worked fine for the first day of adding devices (we're moving into a new home and adding devices as we unbox them), but then this issue started happening on day 2. If I reboot the router, it will work and show the devices, but only for one time. If I go back to list them again, then the same issue reappears. I'm wondering if I configured something wrong or left a blank space where there shouldn't be one or something along that line. Not sure what to try. Firmware is updated to V1.0.1.90 Thanks for any guidance.Solved80Views0likes9CommentsRS600 Setup Problems
Hi, I am trying to set up a new Nighthawk RS600 but cannot seem to connect to the internet with it. I have a TPG HFC connection. I'm moving from an Netgear Orbi so I would think it should work. I contacted TPG and they couldn't solve my problem. I assume there is a setting I need change but just can't work it out, having already spent half a day on it. ThanksSolved83Views0likes4Comments
