just a thought, is there a version of firmware that came stock with the RS700 or a firmware version history with dates? I would be thrilled to see the timeline and figure out which one was stock on my router.

Can look at previous FW version on the RS700's download site. Though you'll need to download each one as the date seen on the web page isn't acurate or reflecting of actual date of FW released.

I do have and have downloaded those versions listed as well as 3 other sanctioned versions. I am just wondering what version shipped with routers during what time frame. so like April 2025 had version whatever. Thats more what i was meaning.

dangit accidentally hit enter. So the reason for that is doing the troubleshooting with netgear i can see what all versions there are, what mine came with and when and then give them the results of trying different firmwares that may or may not work, and provide details in lieu of the timeframe the firmware version was released. I actually used to do hardware support for a tech-ed company that did tablets, whiteboards, clickers, etc. I do know a thing or two about version troubleshooting.

Would be hard to say what was put on that particular one or if FW version put on it matches anything in previous version list however the RS could have have intial FW or 1st version however that may not be acturate as time of Mfg to shipping to vendor and how long it sat on the self before you bought it could be a factor. NG would know this.
Best to keep in touch with NG support. They are aware and seem to be working with you.
