RS700 fast WIFI and Internet but slow across the network.
This is using firmware V1.0.7.66.
I have two synology NAS connected to the router that I can only get about 150mbits to and from when accessing them from a wireless laptop but when i connect via ethernet i can get nearly the gigabit connectivity i expected to either NAS. I get a solid synchronous 900mbits via ATT fiber with speedtest The issue comes in when moving files from a device to either nas connected via WIFI. I have tried multiple laptop devices with no differences between them as to the success.
I'm using a lenovo yoga with WIFI 6e connected via the 6G frequency in the modem. i have also tried using an asus laptop with WIFI 5 connected via the 5G frequency and get similar results to the internet (about 600mbits down and 800 up) but only get about 150mits to either nas unless i am on ethernet.
I haven't done anything to the router as far as configuration changes go. It's pretty much plug and play. The router i upgraded from had no issues like this. It was a netgear RS200 Nighthawk with WIFI 6.
anyone else experiencing this?

How did you measure the speed between the laptop and the NAS? Did you copy files from the NAS to the laptop through Windows (on the laptop) and check the file copy speed shown by Window?

I used the wifi performance tab on the task manager. This is windows 11 BTW. I should have put that in the original post.
- Razor512ProdigyIf you are getting faster speeds over the same WiFi connection to the WAN, but slow on the NAS, then check if you are using a split tunnel option on any VPN software if using any. Also check of write speeds are similarly low.
