Similar problem here. I have a Honeywell thermostat that will not reconnect to the router since the firmware update. I've tried repeatedly to enter the password for the primary network and the guest network and it will not allow the thermostat back in. Hitting the WPS button while submitting the password did not help either. I also had to reconnect a ring camera after the firmware update. This has been a very frustrating update.

Have you tried my suggestion? It really did fix it right up for me. Both my Direct TV receiver and my Honeywell thermostat had the problem.

I am interested in trying this suggestion. I'm not very astute on IT matters...if I'm not hardwired to the router, after I uncheck "enable wireless radio" and hit apply, will I still be able to wirelessly connect to the router to recheck and hit apply? In other words, will my computer still be able to log into the router admin panel wirelessly to reject the box? I use a wheelchair it's just not physically possible for me right now to hardwire my device into the router, if necessary.

Sorry I didn't get to you sooner. Yes you will need a wired device to plug into the router to enable the radios again. I see NetGear has already answered this but I didn't want you to think I ignored you. :)

I am having the same problem with my Honeywell Thermostat, Dyson Air Purifier, and an old Sony DVD player. What is your suggestion?

For now, please rollback to the previous version, v1.0.7.96

We will have a trial firmware release fixing the issue on v1.0.9.6 that some devices in some scenarios could not get an IP address, which we believe causes the connection issues reported here. If you would like to try to trial firmware, please let us know. Thank you.
