RS700 ipv6 lost when modem drops
I have Spectrum cable internet and noticed when my modem loses connection. I lose ipv6 when it comes back up. If I reboot the router, IPv6 comes back. Thoughts? Using auto detect RS700, it selects DHCP if that has any bearing.

How long have you let it go before checking if IPv6 is enabled?
It could be like back in the day, you had to reboot in a specific order and give the modem time to fully come online before starting the router. Its trying to get IPv6 to early, the modem/ISP isn't providing it, so it times out. Maybe after a specific period of time, it'll recheck.
Or you could simply get a UPS and put the modem/router on it and see if that resolves it.

Latest FW version?
Brand and model# of ISP modem?
How is IPv6 configured on the router?
Useing custom IPv6 DNS or Detected ISP IPv6 DNS?
Try some custom IPV6 DNS.
1.0.11.8
Technicolor ET2251
DHCP
ISP detected ipv6 dns
Prefer to use my isp since it’s all automatic. I’m puzzled why the router does not recover ipv6 once the modem comes back up, weird.

Please try custom IPv6 DNS add see if this happens again.
Also try the AUTO IPv6 setting as well.
I'll send this to NG for review.
