Slow PS5 downloads wired connect RS200

Hello,

 

Just got the RS200 Nighthawk and while my wireless  speeds for phones/and other devices is great, it's 1/2 the download speed I had on older router. I was getting over 500mbps and now just over 225.  I am stumped. 

 

Any help is appreciated.

  • It seems if you disable armor on router app it solves the problem.

    Question is why is it only affecting the PS5??

      You might want to try to whitelist the PS5 in Armor

       

      How to create a Netgear Armor device exception:

      1. Open the app: Launch the Netgear Nighthawk or Orbi app on a device connected to your network.

       

      1. Navigate to Security: Go to the "Security" section of the app.

       

      1. Access device management: Find the option to manage connected devices.

       

      1. Select the device: Choose the specific device you want to allow access to.

       

      1. Set exception: Mark the device as "allowed" or "trusted" to create the exception.
