Update doesn't fix the upload speed i have 2gig speed symmetrical
this update doesn't fix the upload speed i have 2gig speed symmetrical and when i do a speed test with ookla speed test app i get 300mbps max

Yes, William3087 , can you run speed test from the Nighthawk App or the router's Web GUI? this is to isolate the issue and check the max speeds between the RS500 and the ISP side first.
and what is your RS500's firmware version?
Does the RS500 include a version of Ookla Speed Test which can be activated using the Nighthawk app or the RS500 web interface?
(Netgear User Manuals often omit trivial details.)
The gaming PC includes an Ethernet adapter capable of 2GB speed? and
- The PC measures 2GB down/ 2GB up when connected to the ONT, but
- measures 2GB down / 300MB up with connected to the 2.5G Ethernet port of the RS500?
What which model router do you have?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.Which ISP are you connected too?
How are you testing the speeds? Ethernet or wireless PC?
Has a factory reset been performed after loading the new FW and speed re-tested?
The network configuration includes an Adtran ONT, a Netgear RS500 router, and a Fidium fiber connection providing 2 Gbps symmetrical service. The network utilizes Cat 6 cabling. Testing is being conducted on a Samsung S24 Ultra and a Galaxy Tab 9. The gaming PC is achieving the full 2 Gbps speed. The router has been factory reset, and the ONT has been rebooted.
What is the model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
So the gaming PC is getting 2Gb in both directions thru the router and the Samsung wireless devices are not?
