Wi-Fi ping spikes every 10 seconds.

Router: NETGEAR RS300
* Mode: Access Point mode
* Gateway/router upstream: UniFi Cloud Gateway Ultra
* ISP: Telia Sweden
* Firmware: 1.0.6.16
* Device used for ping: MacBook Pro M3 Max
* Ping test: ping google.com
* Test location: sitting approximately 30 cm from the RS300
* IPv6: Enabled
* DNS: Cloudflare DoH
all CAT6A - but it should not be a reason since there is no issue via cable to router
I heard it might be WIFI QoS that by some reason still enabled even in AP mode but it's still strange that it makes such a huge spikes

What happens if you ping the routers IP address from your Mac?
If your pinging thru the RS then thru the ISP Gateway, you could see odd spikes.
What happens if you ping directly at the gateway with your WiFi device with RS turned OFF?
And you do have the gateways WiFi disabled as well?
What channels are you using on the RS router? Try 1 and 40 or 11 and 48.
How is AP mode configured on the RS router? Dynamic or Static?

but if I ping gateway - the issue present

You should be able to ping from something connected behind the RS in AP mode to the gateways IP address, i.e. 192.168.1.1 or what ever the gateway is using for it's LAN IP address.
There are two configuration modes for AP Mode, Dynamic and Static:
