(Caveat: I have no personal experience with WiFi7.) However, it appears that using WiFi7 requires WPA3.
This might put the user in an awkward situation:
- Many devices are not capable of WPA3 and will be left unable to connect if the security level is WPA3 only.
- Perhaps the Samsung phone can distinguish that these security settings are "ok" and the iPhone balks at the combination.
It might be an interesting experiment to temporarily change the WiFi security setting to WPA3 and "see what happens"
- If the iPhone still refuses to connect as WiFi7, well that was a dumb suggestion. sorry.
- If the iPhone will connect with WiFi7, but other devices have problems..... (oh dear).
Might be an interesting 10 minutes.

Good afternoon, it is sent to wpa2 personal + wpa3 personal
that was the default setting from when I first got the router

Try enabling the guest network, and enable only wpa3 there. Then connect the phone to the guest network, and see if that works.
That will clarify whether the issue is wpa2 being enabled (or not).

Try setting the main WLAN security to WPA3 only, not mixed mode and see if the Iphone connects at 7?
Is Protection Engine enabled on the RS router?

Good morning
I tried enabling the guest network as
wpa3 only max connection was wifi6etried changing my normal network to wpa3 only max connection again wifi6e
and with that change, all my old devices would no longer connect
i’m assuming protection engine is turned on
where would I go to see that?

Check on the routers web page under Advanced Tab/Security.
Please open a support ticket with NG on this. The iphone 17 is new and there maybe some odd behaviors seen with new gen phones. Thought if your Galaxy 25s is connecting at 7 and the iphone isn't, possible Apple issue in the mix as well, may not be entirely on NG here.
