May 20, 2021account lock out for zero reason
i am getting account lock outs for zero reason how do i fully remove this useless feature?

Yep, I am getting the same thing. Now I cant get into manage my ReadyNAS at all. So it sounds like the OS re-install solved it? That doesn't mess with the data on the drives right?

No the OS reinstall does not mess with your data so you can put your mind at rest. Once I did the OS reinstall and I was able to access the interface normally, via username: admin and password: password. Once you are in download the 6.10.4 firmware from here https://kb.netgear.com/000062588/ReadyNAS-OS-6-Software-Version-6-10-4 and install that. Again no data is affected here.
