Welcome to the community!
Can you confirm if the user that you are trying to add is already on the list of ReadyCLOUD users on share where you want to give it Read or Write access? Posting some screenshots would also help.

Hi Brian:
yes - the user I am trying to add to another folder is already on the cloud user list displayed under the manage screen. They have read / write access to the folder they were originally entered on.
I now want to give them access to another folder.
I can attach a screen shot of the manage page - but not sure it is going to tell you a lot, other than they are in the list.

the version is 6.3.5 runnng on a brand new rn204 - 3 hard drives

Hello rodcrit,
If the invited user is already able to access the files, it should show on user listing when you share a share folder, you should be able to see an option to permit it with read only or read/write access like the image below.
