Hi NASready,
We apologize for this. But the ReadyNAS NV+ v2 only supports ReadyNAS remote. The ReadyCLOUD feature is only available on OS 6 systems. We hope that you will consider StephenB's suggestions or at least configure ReadyNAS remote in your system.
Kind regards,
BrianL

Netgear has said a few times now that ReadyCloud is only for OS 6. Frustrating I know, but they aren't going to budge on that.
Let's not keep going in circles. There are a couple of alternatives, and you will either need to use one, or you will need to get an OS 6 NAS.

And a simpel honnest customer have said few times now ,how bought few years a go 2013 a netgear product for more than 400 euro and i m not taliking about a product that is older than 10 years, cant use a simpel application to do a goodand all jobs ......is not a circel is just about a money ...netgear made firmeware to support some product but not other product and you said it very good just buy another product that support OS 6 again spend more money to buy new product .....you forgot another alternative is to buy new product with all support on another companie................

I understand your frustration (my main NAS is running OS 4). I don't work for Netgear, and I agree that you have other options.
I gave you a couple of free choices that (in my opinion) work better than ReadyCloud. My recommendation was/is to use one of them (I personally wouldn't get a new NAS just to get ReadyCloud).
But if you remain stuck on demanding ReadyCloud support for the NV+v2, then I'll have to lock the thread.

My recollection is that is only lets you access the NAS, and will not do automated backups.
