4.2.20 [T4] ~ Cacti addon kills https/frontview

Everything worked fine, until I installed Cacti addon and rebooted.

Now Frontview won't work.

Any suggestions what should be done?

I wanted to install/uninstall Cacti addon - so it takes the "webroot" share with it, give the latest [T4] update, it looks like it addressed that issue (couldn't remove it manually).
But now I won't ever find out.

Any sort of reset that will remove any installed addons?

  • Just had the same issue, thought i might get away with it using version 1.8 instead of 1.9!

    Latest firmware 4.2.20-T42

had to do the sh CACTI.remove
AND removal of PHP5 before the interface would come back up.. moving the PHP5.conf file didn't remedy it.. now have to reinstall PHP5 i suppose..

any ideas when cacti will be fixed? its a great product, will have to run a separate ubuntu box now to monitor my NAS and router..
  • same issue here, removed php5.conf but still does not work.
Any help or advice is appreciated...
  • I also had to remove 00_php5.conf and PHP5.conf
    Now Fronrview works again.
Netgear can learn a lesson from Synology here...:(
