I have also tried to connect an AVTECH camera (AVM542B) with the ONVIF setting. The ReadyNAS Surveillance finds the camera, automatically selects "Vendor ONVIF" and "Model ONVIF". All settings seem to be OK. However, it cannot connect the data stream and will show no Live view either. :( :(
This camera line seems otherwise very promising: HD-camera (1920x1080), H.264, WDDR, Vandal resistant, Outdoor capable (IP66, -20°C), PoE, full darkness monitoring (≤50 m), SMS, and less expensive than most in this category. They also have a similar but PTZ equipped model (without IR diodes though).
I don't know if the problems is in the camera, the ReadyNAS Surveillance or in the settings. The tested ReadyNAS Surveillance is 1.3.2.
I'm thankful if somebody has a solution to this. Then we will buy the ReadyNAS Surveillance.
Best regards Johan
