The LMS 7.8.0 version has been released.There is a debian package for it but the size is much larger than Super Poussin's 7.7.3 package. http://downloads.slimdevices.com/Logite ... er_v7.8.0/Just wait for it?

I'd be shocked if it didn't work. I only use Squeeze radios and they work just fine using the standard LMS plugin for my Rn516. If you are trying to decide between smaller ReadyNAS, I'd suggest the 21x series as they are powerful enough to even transcode via Plex.

OK have purchased a ReadyNas RN212D23 (2x3TB, Arm Quad processor) . Having looked at the various postings for getting LMS installed I could do with some guidance for getting LMS up and running! I remember the problems I had trying to get LMS installed on a ReadyNas Duo some years ago and would like to make the process a litlle less troublesome this time!) The ReadyNas as delivered was at firmware 6.4.1 but updated to 6.4.2 during setup. Whats the best way to start over from scratch?

I had 7.7.3 installed but since I had some issues with it I tried to remove it. Removal failed though.
(But it was removed from the APP page)
So I tried to install 7.7.2 and it failed too.
The LMS package is also failing so it seems that I am stuck.

Rebooted the NAS and that didnt help.

EDIT: Now 7.7.2 magically appeared under APPS, so far so good.
But I still have the issue with not all plugins available.

EDIT2: If you disable Extension Downloader plugin all 3rd party plugins disappears. Enable it to have them visible again

What is the "this" that you're about to load? Super-Poussin's addon for OS6, or something else?

markwoll, assuming you are referring to the Logitech Media Server app, I have been running it for several months now without a problem on a 316.
I don't run any other apps.

Running fine on both my Duo v1 and RN312 (v7.7.3 with a modest 5,000 tracks). Connect normally to Squeezebox Duet, Boom, Radio, a PC-hosted SqueezePlay client, and a few Android clients. Not bothered about upgrading it - it does what I want it to do already. Thanks to S-P of course for making this all possible from 6.1.6, in the case of the RN312 :wink:
