Git on ReadyNAS

Hello Community,

I am trying to configure my ReadyNAS 104 to run a private Git Server but I am getting boggled down on some of the instructions that I have found in various forums in the internet. Most of the things I find on the internet are either outdated instructions or have links that are no longer active. Can someone lay out a procedure for me, please? Instructions preferably for Mac OS, but other procedures are more than welcome since I need a place to start.
