Has Anyone Managed to Get a DNS Server Working?

In the app list there is a selection for DNS Server for ReadyNAS, which is a version of namedmanager for ReadyNAS.  I noticed that PHP and MySQL had to be installed first so I installed those apps first.

I followed the tutorial document that installs with the software but no matter what I do the Zonefile Status and Logging Staus says "status_unsynced".

I searched the forum and see a few people attempted it, but none of the threads reported any success.  One or two had no replies.  Does namedmanager actually work on ReadyNAS?
