Installation and Upgrade of SoftEther on ReadyNAS RN516

I have been running the SoftEther VPN software on the Raspberry Pi for the last two years and decided today to install the VPN server on the ReadyNAS 516. Before upgrading the current SoftEther verison you must have the VPN server add-on installed.

Here are the Linux command to perform the upgrade.

apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
apt-get install build-essential
apt-get install make libc6-dev gcc gdb libtag1-dev uuid-dev

mkdir /root/softether
cd /root/softether

**** You must make sure that the you download the version you model needs. ****
