The newest ReadyNAS platform was launched in 2017.

StephenB Wowsa. Time does fast quickly doesn't it. I didn't realize it'd been that long. Not good for the readynas front is it.
Liked how my old RN104 worked until I moved to a home server.

Obviously, they are. And the way they are doing may ruin their reputation. Take a look at their stock performance, and it just may be happening already. Product and user abandonment on any product can and should cause businesses to avoid the company in the future for all products and services.
Many turned to ReadyNAS as a part of a remote user solution during COVID and Netgear took that opportunity to simply dump the remainder of their product and then abandon it. Shame on them.
At first, it seemed maybe the COVID supply chain issues and unusually high demand were to blame for the lack of even existing units, but it's become abundantly clear that's not it.
We can only hope that they will at least keep this forum alive so users can help other users.
