One of the features I use is the Logitech Media Server Add-on which I use to stream music to a Logitech Duet, Radios and smart TVs. Checked on Logitech Squeezebox forum about comtaibility of their add-on with new ReadyNas models but they confirmed it only supports old ReadyNas Duo and V2 models. Suggested I check here for add ons/apps that can be used with new ReadyNas models. Looked here http://apps.readynas.com/pages/?page_id=9 and see a Logitech Media Server app listed. Before I commit to purchasing a new ReadyNas (looking at a NETGEAR RN202 model) can anyone one confirm it will allow me to stream music directly from the NAS as with my old setup?
Thanks
I used to have a Duo V1 with 1 x 1 TB Seagate Barracuda and 1 x 2 TB WD Red (Originally i had 2 Barracudas but swapped one after rising error count) running the Logitech Media Server. The Duo started to drop off my network so i purchased a RN204 to replace it.
I also have a Logitech Sqeezebox Duet to stream my music collection to my soundsystem, and it works just as good on my RN204. I just installed the Logitech App on the NAS.
I have a Yamaha AVR that can connect directly to the Logitech server and stream without using the Duet hardware.

Usually that happens because the automated spam filter kicks in.
Instead of reposting, you can send a PM to one or more mods. If you click in the ... next to the post title, you might see a "mark as spam" or "report inappropriate content". (I'm not sure if normal users see both options or not). Both will remove posts, but if you use "report inappropriate content" you should include a remark saying that you just want to remove a duplicate.
I removed your first two replies.
