RN214 issue .. Can not install Logitech Media Server 7.9.0

Hi,

I recently got a used RN214, it had latest firmware 6.10.8 on it.

When Imtried to install LMS, /i couldn't find it in Apps..... in fact whole apps screen was blank.

I did a factory reset, which didn't help.

I did recover firmware by pressing Reset button, that helped, and apps appeared....but still no LMS.

I googled it, found 'armel' version 7.9.0 form Nastools..... but it still didn't install...

i tried installing SMB Plus.... that didn't install neither!

Something is seriously off!

i now downgraded to 6.10.0... and all aps still there, tried first again with SMB Plus, and it intakled fine and ran fine!

i could see LMS 7.9.0 in apps too!

i was happy for a brief moment since it couldn't install from Apps..... and it couldn't install from manual uploading neither.

Can somebody tell me what am I missing?

i simply need 1 single app running in this RN214, it is Logitech Media Server, and I can not currently.

i appreciate if someone can guide me.

Thank you.

Already did try that, no success:

I used WinSCP to SSH, looked at the log and saw this:

fv-app-install-utils.c:101(info) [nastools-logitechmediaserver](0%) preparefv-app-install.c:674(error) fv-app-install (nastools-logitechmediaserver): error code [100]: Reading package lists...Building dependency tree...Reading state information...Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you haverequested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstabledistribution that some required packages have not yet been createdor been moved out of Incoming. The following information may help to resolve the situation:The following packages have unmet dependencies: nastools-logitechmediaserver : Depends: perl (>= 5.8.8) but it is not installable Depends: libgomp1 but it is not installable

It appears it is missing these components:

      perl (>= 5.8.8)
      libgomp1
      lame

      Any clues?

You do know the default Debian repo expired. Once factory reset, it will go back to default. You will have to add the work-around source:

        Deb [trusted=yes] http://archive. Debian.org.

Or create local repo, to be safer.

        Or

You may have to find and manually install the dependencies.

There are instructions for workaround in recent posts.
