Need SMB Plus app
Hi, I need SMB Plus for my ReadyNas 102 with firmware 6.10.10. As Applications is no longer available through the web administration page, can some body watch me how to get it and how to install it...
I need it because all my network is on SMB 2 only my Nas is still on SMB 1.
The RN102 runs SMB 3 by default. The only way it would be limited to SMB 1 is if you changed that with SMB Plus in the past (which would have been a bad idea). So I think you might be misdiagnosing your problem.
That said, you can download the app from this wayback link:
You can then manually install it by pretending it is a fimware update. Navigate to system->settings->update in the NAS web ui, and then use the "install firmware" control there.
