Hi everyone,

I’m sharing a small

  • Good to see somebody working on more up-to-date apps for ReadyNAS.  Tailscale should be an especially useful one, replacing many aspects of  ReadyCloud.  I use and currently recommend ZeroTier, but  the version that works on a ReadyNAS is getting long in the tooth.

Are you planning on making versions for ARM based units as well?

If you are looking for suggestions, OwnCloud or NextCloud would fill in the file sharing capability lost with ReadyCloud's demise.

  • Thanks! I actually tested Nextcloud, but due to the limitations of Debian Jessie I couldn’t get it running reliably .

Tailscale is working well on my side and really does help replace a lot of what ReadyCloud used to offer. The only drawback for now is that login still requires sending a command via SSH.

Is Shell in a Box an option for the SSH commands?

thanks, Shell in a Box works fine. Is there another way to share the package instead of OneDrive?
