Photos2 Best Alternative?
I see that Photos II was discontinued some years ago, what replaced this?
I'm not too eager to share images and such, just want something to organise locally and would rather not have to run another VM for something like Librephotos, which I don't much like as a software anyway.

Unfortunately, nothing replaced it.
If you are running 6.x firmware (OS 6), then I guess you could try the Koken or Piwago third party apps. They aren't current, but might be good enough to meet your needs.
