Plex Media Server Updates and ReadyNAS 102/104
Hello,
since the first release of PMS there was no update at the genie store as far as i know at least for the readynas 102 and 104.
I made a post in the plex media forum with a description on how to update the pms on our systems.
Actually i made a script which does nearly all the work it has to do.

- Genie store is replaced by apps.readynas.com
- thanx, interesting to hear.
So the genie stuff in the readynas os frontend is meaningless?
Nevertheless the plex media server version on the apps store remains old.
Regards - Any updates on this? I just came back to readynas for the simple life and the Plex app is very old now. Does anyone know if it will be updated? Also, am I mad to think that it will run with no trouble on a 104?
- Plex won't transcode video on the 102/104. You need to use clients that can direct play your video.
