Hello. I am experiencing some problems with Dropbox sync on my two RN104 6.7.5 They're both configured with the same Dropbox account for syncing the entire public folder on the "Dropbox" share. Fi...

Hello davidereitano,
The sync process between the NAS and dropbox does not have schedule when it will start or stop. The NAS and dropbox will maintain a steady connection so once a changes is detected on the NAS or dropbox the sync process will automatically start. On the dropbox setting on the NAS there is a setting where you can throttle the upload and download speed.
As for the MAC computer, how are you moving the file, do you drag and drop it? Are you using SMB or AFP protocol?

No, no, no...
Just a moment.
Let me be clear...
I already have two macs connected to the same account on dropbox.
I use Readynas for having another copy of this folder.
I often modify, delete or add folders or files on my macs and i just want that the "Dropbox" fonder on readynas just copy the changes if i add or remove somethis (exactly the same of desktop app).
The speed doesn't matter...
My problem is that if i nothing changes on my dropbox effectively, the readynas keeps uploading files thad ALREADY EXIST in my dropbox space/folder.
example:
File named "THISFILE" is in my dropbox from months, correctly downloaded on iMac1 and iMac2, MacBook, RN104a and RN104b.So, this file DON'T need to be uploaded or downloaded or modified cause is already present in ALL my devices.
BUT RN104a and RN104b start uploading "THISFILE" like "THISFILE" is not in my Cloud.
I never do changes to dropbox using Readynas control panel or by LAN, cause this is useless (i add a file to dropbox folder on mac, every device download it...).

Hello davidereitano,
If I understand it right the problem is that files that were not change or edited and already existed on the NAS and your dropbox account is still being synced as if the files are not being synced for the first time. The sync process is incremental only changes that made on the NAS or on the dropbox will be synced or updated. How do you verify or check that this specific file/s are being synced? Can you provide a screen shot of the exact problem you are encountering.
May we also ask for the complete logs of the NAS, You may use web sharing website like wikisend and just PM me the download link.
