Well I missed an essential first step in troubleshooting. Upgraded to firmware version 4.2.9 but after I restarted, the PS3 would no longer detect PMS on the ReadyNAS. Also I can't check the settings because FrontView will no longer load properly. Fortunately I can still access the network share from my PC. After doing some reading I found that in this Firmware revision FrontView only supports IE7 and I have been using FireFox. So when I get back to the house I'll try to open FrontView with IE7 and go from there. Thanks again for the help igor.
