Whocares_ doesn't work for Netgear. He tests, supports, and distributes his apps, and (IMO) the small charge is reasonable and appropriate.
If you'd like to see more Netgear provided apps, perhaps add an suggestion to the ideas for storage for storage section. Though truthfully, (IMO) Whocares_ has a better track record for ongoing support of his apps.
I can understand. But with a Thecus there are also third party apps/add all contributed by volunteers or asking a donation if you like it..
Is there a possibility I can first try these Netgear add on's before I have to pay so I will not be disappointed and lost also a few dollars.
