Python App under OS6 on ReadyNAS 314

Hi,

I installed the Python App under OS6 on my new ReadyNAS 314.

But I cannot even turn it on - what is wrong?

Also I am curious of what this Python App actually do for you.

I am quite used to use Python otherwise.

By the way I had no problem to install the ReadyNAS Photo II app and get that to work.

    Hello janpeter1,

Just found out that this app is available for download because sometimes there are some apps that require the Python packages like SABnzbd, SickBeard, CouchPotato, but it seems that is no longer the case since these real apps will already install the needed packages. Basically you cannot do anything with this Python app.

You may remove this app if there is no app you have that requests to install this.

    Regards,

    Hello janpeter1,

May we ask for the current firmware version of the NAS? Are you able to turn on other apps you install? If you have no other apps, try installing and see if the same. Or try another web browser too when enabling the app.

Not sure how to use this Python, what I know is this is a program language, you may try reaching WhoCares_ and super_poussin.

    Regards,

      Hi

I use the current version OS 6.2.4.

Followed your advice and tested both webbrowsers Chrome and Firefox (and normally I use Safari since Mac user).

I did not get Python App to work. I cannot even turn it on. Other Apps I have tried and seems to work are ReadyNAS Photo II as well as Asterix.
