ReadyNAS LMS App Will No Longer Load in Browser

I have been using LMS on my ReadyNAS 314 for a year now; I am on v 7.9.0 - 1477086729.

Until recently I could laod the LMS page in both Microsoft Edge and Explorer 11. About a month ago it stopped loading in edge, and a few days ago it has stopped loading in Explorer 11. To be more accurate, the page loads, but nothing I click works.

When I ask why it's not working propertly, I get an error INET_E_DOWNLOAD_FAILURE MESSAGE.

Any ideas?

    Hello ncameron,

Have you recently upgraded the firmware of the NAS or under gone a windows update? Are you getting the same error using different browser like Chrome or Firefox?

I have recently upgraded the firtmware, but this started beforehand.

Although, weirdly, it started working again on IE - but not Edge.

As an aside, the ReadyNAS Apps page tells me that I am on LMS v 7.9.0 - 147... and that there is a newer version v 7.9.0 - 20160617... and I have prerssed the Update button three times, but I always end up with the older version - why is that?

        Hello ncameron,

If it is working on the IE then I the problem is not on the NAS but might be something on the Edge. As for the update, it will try to connect to the source of the app from the developer server. Please try if the NAS can connect to the Readynas server to check for update from the admin page. If it will connect then there is no problem with the internet connection of the NAS then might be a problem on the app developer server. You want to try setting static DNS address (8.8.8.8) on the NAS network setting.
