Readynas Public Link down?
My ReadynasPhotoII says my HostName for web forwarding is not registered. It has been registered for over a year. It appears the site linking to our servers is down. Anyone else having the same issue? :x

- Never heard of that issue, but have you rebooted the device or delete and re added the add-on?
- horim80GuideSame issue here.
Unable to register and upnp (auto port forwarding)is not work.
I try open 8086 port manually but it's not work either. - rubberscorpioAspirantYes, rebooted, checked my port forwarding, the usual things. My app runs by locally accessing the the console via Frontview.
Have run tests on the photos.readynas.com and it has been reporting the site is down. I suspect that is why my Hostname is not registering and not because there is suddenly an issue on my setup.
If the site is down, shouldn't there be some kind of bulletin on this forum? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredTry sending a PM to r2-d2.
- bmbpdkAspirantany solution yet?
i cant see any anouncements on the subject from Netgear, atleast they could say that something is wrong.
Would deleting the photos II addon delete all my pictures? - hippo1AspirantI have used the ReadyNAS Photos II since this October.
Suddenly, maybe after yesterday, my application has had the same issue to fail the web forwarding.
(It says external access URL is not available.)
My hostname is not registered and the diagnosys says it can't connect to the ' www.readynas.com ' .
Reboot several times don't resolve this issue. :( - chirpaLuminaryAs mdgm said, r2-d2 is your best chance at getting it resolved, he designed it.
- fatherjackAspirantI have the same issue.
Did you get a reply or solution? - ToshaAspirantFolks, I have the same issue. What happened? What does it mean r2-d2?
One more detail - after I tried change password or another setting for photography I got the error:
Timestamp: Fri Nov 9 01:00:00 GMT+0300 2012
Method: deleteUserAcct
FaultString: Undefined error returned by business logic implementation
FaultCode: Server
FaultDetail: <RNP2Error xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
<RNP2ErrorCode>5904</RNP2ErrorCode>
<RNP2ErrorString>NET Error: Communication error with server</RNP2ErrorString>
<RNP2DebugMessage>rnp2db.c:1320</RNP2DebugMessage>
</RNP2Error>
What we should to do?
Thanks - fatherjackAspirantYour error looks like mine. I think the improtant part is 'communication error with server'
PM R2-D2 means that there is a user here by the name R2-D2. others have suggested sending him a private message and he might be able to help.
