[Scanner] Sane backends on RN102 OS6
Hello, I find this old post and I'm wondering if somebody found out a solution...
I would like to share a scanner (Samsung Multifunction SCX-4x21 Series) through my RN102, but I can't find any guide explaining how to correctly install Sane on OS6.
I found this app, but it exist only for OS4 x86, nothing for AMR OS6... No documentation in the developer's website neither...
Any suggestion? Thanx a lot

Unfortunately, the printer as well scanner support stopped on OS6, This has been asked before about the ReadyNAS OS6 unit's USB ports' support for printer/scanner and it has been confirmed that OS6 units will have no support on this.

Thank you for the answer. I read it now because I had some problems with mail notification, sorry.
An OS REMOVING features in the more advanced versions is a little peculiar, I suppose that Netgear's marketing department tought that it was a brilliant idea (maybe to make people move to Synology or other). I will look around and if I could find some hack I'll post here.

PS: about printers, I'm using Poussin's CUPS Printer Server for ReadyNAS 1.0.3 it work perfectly on R6 and it's available trought this post.
The request for an OS6 version of a 3rd party app it would be best to ask the community developer.
OS6 is a revolutionary new OS and with the great changes involved some features that were in RAIDiator have gone (some have been added in since OS6 first launched) and not every app that was built for RAIDiator has been built for OS6.Needs change and some features can become less popular over time. Personally I now print documents far less often than I used to.
