I installed the tftp app on a NAS and without any other configuration, I can tftp to/from it without issue. I tried it from a PC running tftpd32 and also from a managed switch.
Can you ping the NAS OK from the tftp client?
If you run netstat -an on the NAS, does it appear to be listening for tftp traffic on port 69 (see example below)?
root@RN526X:~# netstat -an
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State
<snip>
udp 0 0 172.22.0.53:69 0.0.0.0:*
- TheBajaGuyNJOct 07, 2016AspirantI just tried it again from a site switch (send the running config to the NAS) and now it's working. I'm at a loss what changed. Notes: v6.5 firmware (it's bugging me to update it sometime to 6.6). HP 2920-series switch [IP masked] hhhwfrigcorner# copy running-config tftp 192.168.xxx.yy hhhwfrigcorner.xxx.yy.cfg TFTP download in progress. Thanks for your response.
