Transmission 2.84 for ReadyNAS OS 6
Hi all,
you may download the latest versions of Transmission Bittorrent client for NETGEAR ReadyNAS storage systems from my GitHub:
- Transmission add-on package for ReadyNAS systems on ARM processor (100, 200 series, 2120 and others): https://github.com/ssurba/transmission-readynas-os6-arm
- Transmission add-on package for ReadyNAS systems on Intel processor (300, 500, 700 series, 3220/4220 and others): https://github.com/ssurba/transmission-readynas-os6-x86
- Transmission add-on package for legacy ReadyNAS storage systems based on ARM architecture - DUO v2 (RND2000v2), NV+ v2 (RND4000v2): https://github.com/ssurba/transmission-readynas-legacy-arm
The latest maintained version for ReadyNAS OS 6 is 2.84-0.01.

new to this, how do I install this? is there a guide?

Welcome to the community! :)
The latest version of the Transmission app for the ReadyNAS OS 6 is v3.00.8. You may double-check it here.
Here are the steps in installing app/s below:
a. On the web-GUI of your NAS, click on Apps tab.
b. Click on Available Apps then search for Transmission. You may click on the Refresh button located at the upper right corner of the Available Apps page to refresh the list of apps that are available.
c. Once you locate the Transmission app, click on install. Wait for a few moments.
d. After a few moments, click on Installed Apps to double-check that the Transmission app has been installed.
e. Click the Launch button to lauch the Transmission app.
