Upgrade Logitech Media Server
Hello, I installed LMS on a ReadyNAS 314 from the apps tab. It's running fine but I don't think this is the latest version of LMS. It says Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.0 - TRUNK @ UNKNOWN. ...

After fidling around I found a way to upgrade / install the latest version of LMS.
In case some else is looking for the same thing, here is how I did it:
1. If you have the "official" LMS app installed on your NAS: uninstall it (in APPS, click the romove link under the LMS icon)
2. Download the lastest LMS:
2a. if you want a beta version download it from here: http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=7.9
2b. if you want the offical released version then download it from here: http://downloads.slimdevices.com/LogitechMediaServer_v7.9.0/
in both cases you'll need the _all.deb version
3. Install the LMS package (in APPS -> UPLOAD)
4. download and install the latest lms_x.x.x_all.deb from here:
This will install the LMS icon in the installed apps page.
That's it.

I have also upgraded my old ultra 4 pro to os6 and needed to reinstall LMS.
I found that uninstalling the LMS from the 'apps' gallery, then uploading the latest from http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/
worked perfectly. The only odd thing is the APP is not listed as installed in the APP tab, but it works perfectly. Other members might like to comment if this is goin to cause grief down the track :)
Version: Version: 7.9.1
Cheers.
