uTorrent App for ReadyNAS OS 6 (Intel) coming soon
I have been working on the utorrent server (utserver) for a little bit and I think the app is getting ready for submitting.
For the people that are interested in the uTorrent app:

What do you think?

Hello Mhynlo,
You may also use https://apps.readynas.com/pages/?page_id=37 for submitting apps.
Thanks for the contribution!

Hi thank you for adding this great app. Think you can provide a package for 3.4.6 or provide?
Thanks
Tom

The app is based on the utorrent's linux server:
http://www.utorrent.com/intl/en/downloads/linux
Its still in a 3.3.x beta. I am not sure when the 3.4.x would be coming, but their forum seems to post their activity in their efforts on the utorrent linux server:

Hi,
Thanks for your fast reply. If you have any older uTorrent deb packages like you had posted earlier that would make things a lot easier. I have been trying to figure out how to install this on my ReadyNAS 312 for a few days. The one that you posted most recently is a version that I cannot use on the Torrent site that I.
Any one of these would be great
uTorrent 2.0.4
uTorrent 2.2.0
uTorrent 2.2.1
uTorrent 3.0.0
uTorrent 3.1.2
uTorrent 3.1.3
uTorrent 3.2.0
uTorrent 3.2.1
uTorrent 3.2.2
uTorrent 3.2.3
uTorrent 3.3.0
uTorrent 3.3.1
uTorrent 3.3.2
uTorrent 3.4.2
uTorrent 3.4.3
uTorrent 3.4.4
uTorrent 3.4.5
uTorrent 3.4.6- Cobra502Aspirant
I was thinking that if i modify the link that you are using to grab pull the utorrent app from the utorrent site (wget http://download.ap.bittorrent.com/track/beta/endpoint/utserver/os/linux-x64-debian-7-0 -O $(CURDIR)/ut-files/utserver.tar) to an older version I should be able to use the same process that you have in your deb package.
If you have an older package from the list I posted can you add it to your GitHub?
Thanks
Tom

You are free to play with the build to change the version of the binary that is pulling from utorrent. The utorrent package is the server, so I am not sure how different the utserver is from the desktop utorrent.
I selected that link specifically since it is genaric to debian (similar to ReadyNAS) and does not specify a specific version. That last part makes it tricky to figure out what versions are available to download from utorrent's site. Did you know any tricks for that?
