Hey all,
I solved it finally!! I believe it was a permissions issue.
This is how I fixed it:
1. SSH'd to the application folder via terminal. Make sure you use 'root' (not 'admin') - the password is the same one used for admin.
2. Naviagate to the 'apps' folder to find the utorrent folder (this is also the place where your downloads are probably ending up btw, look in 'utorrent' > 'bin' folder)
3. chmod the utorrent folder (and contents) to 755
That should allow you to go back into the web GUI of utorrent, and change the settings there and have them save. Well it worked for me anyway - all seems to be going good for me!
