ZoneMinder install failing on ReadyNAS 516 - libjpeg8

Any more news on this? What is it about the newer firmware that breaks ZoneMinder?
I gave up on trying to get this an other apps to work with the latest firmware releases.
Have just purchased a QNAP and have got all the apps I need running on it within a short space of time. Comes with a 2 camera licence for their surveillance software which works very well to. Will be selling my ReadyNAS 516 and EDA500 expansion unit on ebay once i'm happy with the new NAS and everything is copied over.
Hope Netgear sorts out the issues with working add-ons availability soon as this is the real part that lakes way behind its competitors.
Any update on this issue? Latest version of OS6 doesnt work with zoneminder.
