1GB PC2-5300 in ReadyNAS NV+
I just received my NV+ and am currently setting it up. I discovered I have an unused Kingston 1GB PC2-5300 RAM module in the Big Box Of Spares. Can anyone speculate as to whether it's worth trying? From reading through it seems most people are using 2700 RAM and even that is temperamental!
This is my first post and one of the reasons I bought the NV+ was the quality in this community forum. A wealth of knowledge!

- ReadySECUREApprenticeHello,
Netgear does NOT recommend 3rd party vendor's RAM. You can try it however it can cause instabilities with the overall system.

- KhaoticAspirantAre there upgrades available for the memory module in the NV+ system?
