2T drive only allocating 500G

Hello folks, I am upgrading my readynas duo from 2 500G drives to 2 2T drives. I've backed everything up. I picked a drive from the compatibility list (Seagate ST2000DL003-9VT166 [1862 GB]). I took one of the 500G's out. Replaced it with one of the new 2T drives. Readynas formatted it and synced to the 500. So far, so good. Trouble is that when I look at my admin screen i see this about the 2T drive:

Ch 1 : Seagate ST2000DL003-9VT166 [1862 GB] 461 GB allocated
Ch 2 : Seagate ST3500321CS [465 GB] 461 GB allocated

Does this mean the 2T is capped in a sense at 461 or will it go all the way up to 2T (or close to it) when I drop in the second 2T drive? I didn't want to open the second drive until I had an idea of how this would work in case i needed to return the drive.

Appreciate any wisdom, thanks
-john

X-RAID uses the capacity of the smallest disk. When the disk in Channel 2 is replaced with a 2TB disk, there will be a resync and then expansion will take place.
